Website Launched – Introducing: Cineme
Cineme provides a platform for creative filmmakers to showcase their talents in the field of independent production and short film.
Founded in 2008 by James Ewen and Joe Haynes, Cineme was established to help those within the short film industry to promote and distribute their work.
Metamesh was hired to develop this platform. With a website focused on playing movies, the project had some quite heavy requirements. It needed to be able to store and stream high quality movies. By using established services such as Wordpress and Videopress we were able to cut development costs significantly, while still providing a high quality service.
Recently launched, Cineme features a showcase, movie rating, movie playing systems and an online store. Cineme has several exciting features we’re currently working on:
Job board – We’ve been hired to build a bespoke job board application to allow freelancers to find work.
Movie Management – Users can upload and manage their movies via this friendly, intuitive interface.
Directory – Those interested in finding talented, qualified freelancers can search and view freelance directory profiles.
We’re all excited to see Cineme go live, and we’re looking forward to the future of this project. Good luck Cineme!
